Your service is the very best for a handful of reasons. The main reason is the personal attention to each email I send to my fiancee which has ALWAYS been timely. The interpreters you have in Lugansk are not only friendly and helpful but they pay attention to everything I say as well as everything that my fiancee sends to me. They even used to interpret over the phone before my fiancee took English lessons and I made the effort to learn Russian. After I had her take private English lessons and private driving lessons she can converse with me reasonably well. She is better at English than I am at Russian. If I am uncertain whether she understands I merely say, “Penemyete?” and she will answer “Da” or “Nyet” and I will go on or repeat. If she truly doesn’t understand or I don’t understand we merely agree that we will clear it up in an email that the interpreters will resolve.
Right now the thing that I miss the most about my fiancee is the tiniest things – her walk, her laugh and even when she gets upset with me for eating in the bedroom when I am talking to her eleven year old son (who speaks four languages including English.) while he is playing video games with, “Reechard, in the Ukraine men wait until dinner time to eat and then when everyone is at the table.” I can’t tell you how much I miss her attitude because although she said it in jest she was also serious. I truly miss her attitude about family. She can’t pronounce “th” properly in English so I make fun of Russian and then she says that, “Russian is the best language Reechard.” You have no idea how I miss that. It took a little while for her to understand just what a smart aleck is in English because I kept telling her that her sense of humor matched the little smirk she smiles with sometimes making her a perfect smart aleck. I love her very much and miss both her and her little boy (who is also a smarty pants).
Although it has been eighteen months since I first met my fiancee via the internet and then in person until now as I have just received approval from immigration, it is a reasonable length of time considering the 180 days wait and the gathering of all the paperwork necessary to submit an application.
I’ve never had the feeling Lugan-Girl was anything but an honest business from the very first moment I started emailing a few of the ladies. Speaking of the ladies themselves, they are excessively beautiful – breathtaking actually. For some of them their photos don’t do them justice. After only a few weeks I was torn between two ladies and the interpreters told me to wait until I actually met them both to make up my mind. They were absolutely correct. In fact my fiancee and I bonded perfectly. The other lady and I knew we weren’t meant for each other however we are still good friends. Since I wrote to mainly two women for at least six months before I met both ladies that increased the time. Therefore the time I myself spent may not be typical. I’m certain that many relationships are far shorter than the eighteen months I have taken. Strangely even with the war the American immigration service has not only been timely but reasonable with no surprises.
The Ukrainian women themselves are very special – “they leave the West behind”. They may look fragile and beautiful but realize that they are as strong as tigers – my fiancee is living proof. Trust me. They merely need to know that you care.

Hello, my name is Brett Sargent. Iam writing this open letter to any gentlemen which is considering going to the Ukraine with the intent of finding a lady for marriage. In September 2001 I began a search for a suitable lady with whom I could get to know, meet and hopefully if love prevailed marry. My intention then being to return to Australia with the lady as my wife. Of course Iam also realist,so before I started this search I spent about 1 month looking into all the possible negatives of doing this.

Last but not least, which sites had a strong emphasis on scam prevention, for example the ladies on the site had all been screened as being real and of course sincere.
It was then that I began asking questions of people and I was recommended by a gentleman called Jack Bragg to email an agency www.lugan-girls.com. I was interested in the Ukraine due to its size compared to Russia and specifically a lovely area called Lugansk, which is in the East of the Ukraine. You may have heard of Lugansk before, but proberbly due to all the scam agencies and scam girls who operate there. Yes it is true I have had an encounter with one and also seen all the bad press on the net. But luckily for me and for my now fiancee Olga I found the only registered and trustworthy agency that I know of in Lugansk.
If you want to go to Kiev or Lugansk to meet a lady I can't stress this enough, save your time, save your money and contact Anna Olsen at "Lugan-girl". I spent 1 month of searching so take advantage of this and email Anna and see for yourself. Anna and her staff, Zina and Ludmilla not to forget Elena as well are great. They are truly professional, they will go out of there way to organise tickets in the Ukraine accommodation outings and drivers. Believe me as I used all these services while I was there. Sure you still have to do some leg work but thats part of the experience and the fun of being there. But Anna was a great help with translation and day to day activities and organising.
I cannot forget also she helped me find a great lady who next year will be coming to Australia and become my wife. The best thing anyone can do is have a look at Annas site send an email to her, introduce yourself, tell Anna the sort of lady you are looking for and let Anna weave her magic. This is a message from a friend of the Lugan-Girl Agency. My name is David DeChambeau, I am an American who has visited Lugansk and hired the owner of the Lugan-Girl agency as an interpreter.
While in Kiev, I met the owner, Anna, who provided interpretation services for me and another girl, I had traveled to the Ukraine to meet. Without going into great detail about the meeting, I would like to say a few words about Anna and her agency.
Just like many of you, I was very apprehensive about traveling several thousand miles to meet someone I wasn't even sure existed. Even though I had been corresponding with this woman for many months, I would not have been surprised to arrived in Kiev, gone to the restaurant where we were to meet, only find that there really was no such women! To my delight, (and surprise) there was the girl of whom I had only seen pictures of, along with her interpreter Anna. After spending several days together, we realized that we were simply not meant for each other. I did however, accompany them to Lugansk (an 18 hour train ride from Kiev) and spend about a week exploring the city and getting to know Anna better. As a result, Anna and I have become fast friends, and I have undertaken the challenge of helping her build a successful web site.
Lugan-Girl was hosted on a server that was actually inaccessible to much of the world, America included! We have since moved Lugan-Girl to a western location and we are in the process of making many changes to ensure good customer service to both the women available on her site, and the men searching for their perfect mate.

I met some of them in the agencies offices in Lugansk, and the process Anna and her employees use to screen women is very convincing. When a women wants to be on Anna's web site, she is first interviewed concerning her intentions and actually has to pay a small fee to appear on Lugan-Girl's site. Additionally, every women on the site had to sign a document stating that she would not place her profile on any other agency's web site. If you see one of Lugan-Girl's women on another site, either it has been stolen by one of the hundreds of scam sites, or the woman has broken her contract with Lugan-Girl. In any event, please drop us an e-mail and let us know. Women all over Russian are actually earning a living off gullible Western men like me!
Finally, I encourage you to search for a women somewhere near your age. Why? Well there are a couple of reasons, including the obvious one of considering the future 20 years from now. Also, all of the women I met at Anna's agency were beautiful, many of them were well educated and worldly, any of the would make magnificent and loyal wives. Whether they are 20 or over 40, they all have this special Russian elegance that I am certain you will see for yourself.

| I have been using the Internet on and off since 2001 searching for a life partner and I have learnt that you have to be careful because many sites or the women whose photos you see on them are not honest. So in the first instance a "leap of faith" is needed. But not with Lugan- Girl because I can recommend it to you.
After my leap of faith I began some initial correspondence with a young lady registered with the Lugan Girl site and I travelled to Lugansk to meet her just before Christmas 2003. After a few meetings it became apparent that we were not meant for each other. Since I was in Lugansk for few days Ludmila, the manager of Lugan Girl, was able arrange a meeting with another girl. Although this too was not successful, I was impressed by Ludmila's ability to make quick arrangements so that my remaining time in Lugansk was not wasted.
I don't think that my experiences are unusual in not being successful at the first or even second attempt. You can't easily tell a person's personality from photos and letters. It could take you several years to find the right woman so don't rush it. It will also cost you quite a lot of money and time, what with all the travelling, but consider it an investment towards your future happiness.
Anyway, Ludmila and I discussed a second visit with several interviews over the course of a few days and I set out to Lugansk again in the spring of 2004. The events of the next few days were very professionally arranged and carefully planned. Afterwards, I returned to England with a good feeling that I might have found someone at last and I continued to write to one of the girls I had met. After several more visits to Ukraine my girlfriend came to visit me in England. Homesickness was always my concern but she was fine, and got on well with my relatives. I proposed on New Year's day 2005 and we are going to be married in the summer.
The point to all this is that I am very happy with the service provided by Lugan Girl. It is a small outfit working out of an unassuming office, in a town, you probably never heard of before, but the service is excellent. Ludmila, the manager, can make all the arrangements for you and with several skilled translators who also work there, you won't have a problem with the language barrier. You can fly or get the overnight train from Kyiv to Lugansk; both services are direct.

I used up a small amount of money I gave the girl for Internet translation fees. I then asked the girl to switch over to Lugan-Girl for 50% savings. The girl did not contact Anna. Instead she tried to give me a sympathy story from Internet site she had been using, Crosswinds.net and Yahoo.com. Crossroads is on your "Scam Alert Agencies" list!!! Anna then contacted the girl who had a telephone when she told me she did not. I want to thank your site and Anna Olsen for your help. Also the $40 I had sent Miss Piskunova is being credited for future use. In reality she probably has earned the money as who knows how much I could have ended up spending on the girl? I had made plane reservations and am now going to the Ukraine in November. Instead of visiting the girl who I had initially contacted. I will be writing and visiting other ones.

After many years of entertaining the notion of seeking a life companion through Marriage Agencies, I finally decided to take the risk this last year and begin communicating with a few young women from another agency in Lugansk. After a few months of this, I began to realize that what I had originally percieved to be an honorable agency was anything but that, and I went away from that encounter wounded but wiser for having had the experience. Not long after, I, like Brett, arrived at Jack Bragg's doorstep at First Dreams Agency. Initially, this was to report the scam I had been a victim of, but not long after Jack directed me to other reputable agencies that, along with his own agency, have formed an alliance dedicated to providing legitimate services to men seeking sincere and available Russian and Ukrainian women for marriage, and also to help prevent the epidemic spread of scam agencies and individual scammers currently on the Internet.
My previous experiences have shown me that many agencies send out form letters to men from the women they have chosen, misleading the man into believing the letter was exclusively for him. This is often not the actual case. The women I have corresponded with through Lugan Girl have all been sincere, and the letters I have recieved have obviously been written by the women I have chosen. Another problem one often encounters in dealing with the vast number of women and agencies advertising on the Internet, is that it is not long after the initial correspondence that the woman, or the agency supposedly writing on the woman's behalf, begin to solicit money for agency fees or other expenses. This should be a wise shoppers' first sign to turn and run.
During the time I have been with Lugan Girl, I have yet to recieve any such requests from any of the women I correspond with. In addition, Lugan Girl's various fees for services are often half what I was charged by other agencies for the same exact service. Other agencies will also often request that services be purchased through Western Union money transfer. This can present a real problem should one encounter a scammer or scam agency, as such money transfers leave few records and options for legal recourse. Lugan Girl has responsibly addressed this issue by accepting credit cards via Paypal.
In closing, I can say that Lugan Girl has been honest in all of our dealings to date. Anna Olsen, manager of the agency, has been a gem to deal with. Anna has always responded to my emails in an expedient and cordial fashion. I have purchased my ticket to Lugansk for this summer, and I feel comfortable relying upon Anna and her employees to make my trip a successful one. Honest agencies are hard to find, so if by luck you have found this agency, you would do well to limit yourself to dealing with Anna at Lugan Girl, and/or the other fine agencies associated with and recommended by them.

| I want to write a letter of recommendation for the Lugan-Girl agency, but it's hard to know where to begin. I guess I could start by telling you about the kind of people that you're dealing with here. I met the founder and her American husband before I had any business dealings with the agency. They are nice, normal people, not some shady characters that are willing to do anything to make a buck. When I met them, I had no idea that I would become one of their clients later.
A few months ago, I asked a good friend in Lugansk to see if she could find someone over there that I might be interested in. I said that I wanted to find someone who was serious and sincere about wanting a long-term relationship. I told her that I thought it would be risky for me to try and find someone over there on my own, because of all the scams and schemers that you run into on the internet. My friend is good friends with the mother of the agency's founder. About a week later, I received an e-mail from a nice young lady through the agency. She appeared to be the type of girl that I was looking for, attractive, sweet, and sincere.
We began exchanging letters through the agency. I felt good about the correspondence, because each time I asked a question, the next letter that I received included a response to the question. Also, the letters that I received didn't have that "canned" letter #1, letter #2 feel, and no one asked me for money (other than a reasonable fee for translation services).
I felt like I was definitely communicating with the girl that I was interested in (through a translator), not just interacting with someone working for the agency. Our relationship progressed quickly, because we were looking for the same thing. After exchanging letters for a while, we began talking on the telephone, and then I started visiting her in Lugansk. I think I have found what I was looking for. The agency made it possible for me to meet someone nice and helped us to get to know each other. Meeting and getting to know each other is how relationships begin. Now, the rest is up to us.
The Lugan-Girl agency did a good job, and I trust them.

| I would like to write a letter of recommendation for Lugan-girl marriage agency and in particular the owner Anna Olsen herself. My story is similar to a lot of “I’ve been scammed” stories in a lot of ways and also different and unique in some ways. I had been corresponding with a lady that lives in Lugansk for some time. She belonged to another agency, called Gloria. I had some suspicions for a long time that something was not right. But unlike a lot of advices you read on the internet about scammers, none really applied. And in my case my suspicions were not of the lady herself but the agency she was using. They seemed to be doing everything properly but something just did not feel right. I had purchased some services for my lady but had a very strong suspicion that she did not receive them. So what do you do in that situation? It would be useless to ask her if she received the services through a letter that goes through her agency right ? I had for some time known of Lugan-girl. I already knew that they had very good reviews from men on the internet, unlike the agency that my lady used which had very bad reviews. So I decided to email the owner Anna Olsen to ask if she could deliver a letter for me. She wrote me back promptly which really surprised me. She was very helpful. So my letter was delivered. I had also given her the mobile phone number of my lady to schedule the delivery. Then what happened next surprised me. I started receiving letters from my lady through her agency stating that she was very upset with me for questioning her through some outsiders that she did not know or trust. I was almost thinking I had broached some cultural difference without knowing it. But it just did not feel right. I wanted to talk to my lady face to face on a web cam and asked Lugan- girl if they could arrange it. Well Lugan girl informed me that my lady was postponing it for one reason or another and the letters I was getting were adamantly refusing to go for the web cam. But Lugan-girl instead of just walking away as they could have since neither my lady or myself were not their clients. Did not give up. They were very eager to help me. They eventually found out that not only I was being scammed but the lady herself. They then arranged a very long web cam for me during which I had my agency here in the USA arrange a 3 way call. It was during that web cam/phone call that my lady and I found out just how far the deceptions of this other agency went. It was a lot more involved than merely not delivering services but even to the point of giving me a fake mobile phone number to my lady. The 3 way calls I had made and even the calls Lugan-girl made were in fact to some deceptive person who worked for this other agency. So guys don’t just always assume it’s the ladies that scam. There are a lot of dishonest agencies out there that use these nice women.
Anna and Lugan-girl welcomed my lady and myself to their agency with open arms. Anna and I have exchanged many ,many emails back and forth. She has always been very gracious and helpful. I can tell you that Anna is one of the “good guys” I’ve learned a lot about her character. She is a very honest, caring and real person. She is not just out to make a quick dollar. She honestly cares about people and wants to see couples come together and find their happiness. So if you are like me , wading through all the scam stories and trying to find an honest foreign agency. I can definitely recommend Anna and Lugan-girl. I would like to thank Anna and all the staff at Lugan-girl for all their hard work and extra effort in helping me. I cannot say enough about them.

If you remember me I came out to Lugansk to meet with Olga from the 11th to the 20th of this month. With all of the bad luck I had with my plane flight and becoming semi stranded in Kiev with missing the flight due to rain, and having to take the bus from Kiev to Lugansk. I want to inform you of my perception of your office and staff. From the time I arrived in Kiev your office has been there for me when I needed help and guidance being a stranger in Ukraine. The office staff was worried as well as I did not know how I was going to arrive in Lugansk. But Anna the owner of Lugan-Girl Agency offered me some help but I did not want to put Anna out but, I would see them the next day when I arrived by bus the next morning. From the first moment I got off of the bus Julia had been there waiting for me our translator and life line ; ) I just could not believe that this Agency had indeed come through for me. Julia my life line for four days with my meeting with Olga and Julia’s professional attitude was not only that of her job to be helpful for myself and Olga but this seems to be her passion in life to help people or I should say to see people happy in life. Julia’s help could never be repaid back. I do not think there is enough money in this world that I could give to her for her help or any material possession that could ever be given to her for all of the hard work she had to go through with me and of the worry of my whereabouts she had as well as the care she took of me being a stranger in a country that I know not all that much about nor the language for that matter. Julia I commend you! And just to inform you that when I asked Olga for her hand in life to be my life long partner she said YES!!! | In 1994 I went to Moscow and quickly found a lady to marry. Back than there were few scams. Now 95 of agencies are very dishoest. Extortion very common which you will quickly learn perhaps the hard way.
I have been in Ukraine 6 times and have concluded there are few agencies which are producing results in the form of marriages. In fact most agencies are arranging escort like meetings which are made to appear like real meetings.
Personally I worked with Anna Olsen who I found to be very honest and taking the mtter of matching men up the best way possible. I recommned you personaelly talk with Anna Olsen to help you find your dream lady. |
