All around Ukraine you may find teh historical museums and monuments devoted to the memory of the Second World War. Lugansk isn't exception. The Eternal fire monument for those who have died during the Second World War and The monument of the missing soldier with starks taking him to eternity
Ukrainian main banks:Aval Bank,Prominvest Bank and Oschadniy Bank. These are the places where you can easily exchange Travel checkes, or any other currency to the local money- "Grivna". In the best value are USA dollars. You can exchange them almost in any place around Lugansk in a small bank kiosks. Also all around the city you will find ATM machines. You can use the credit card in most of the big markets, hotels and restaurants.
Raketa and Rossiaya are the big markets that have both food, cloth and ATM machines.

You might have a wish to surprise you lady by the flowers. You may find plenty of flowers on the pedestrian subway near the big market "Rossiya" and the flowers shop downstreet from the pedestrian subway.
You can find deep variety of cafes and restaurants, both with differnt interior and cuisine. Such cafes as "The House of Cofee" and "Cafe "Pernik"

Smachna Hata- the name of the restaurant
translates as a house of a tasty food. This restaurant specilisies on Ukrianian cuisine.
Very tasty home made food, just like home, with inside and outside area.
"Grival"a place with restaurant, lake and a sauna, located outside the city. and "Tea&Coffee"- another cute cafe next to Drama Theater
